I woke myself up early this morning and headed to the gym in one last ditch effort to lose 5 lbs (in a day) and squeeze into my bridesmaid dress for this weekend. I had researched having a rib removed, but I hadn't thought about it soon enough and didn't leave ample time for the recovery window. Bad planning.
Thanks for all the new followers who jumped over here from Scos' blog yesterday. I hope you'll stick around. I will clarify that while I dedicate my time writing a blog about weddings (and other random things), I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm "passionate" about them. I'm more accepting of the fact that I'm going to dedicate my twenties and thirties to sharing in the happiness of other couples and carving out 36 weekends a year to attend a wedding-related event. When life hands you bridesmaids dresses - write a blog. Right?
So with that said I'm signing off and heading to scenic Chadds Ford, PA for the wedding of my best friend in the world Kelsey - and her wonderful, soon-to-be husband Will. Going to put my money where my HMOH mouth is and do things right. MOH speech is half baked, my b'maid dress half fits, and I'm halfway certain (slash 100 percent - unless my dress busts open) that it's going to be the best wedding ever.
I'll leave you over the weekend with a video of the best proposal ever (thanks Sibster!).
Wish me luck!
-HMOH
